Google both to see the conditions and which is suiltable for you. It is much cheaper to do this.

Car: Best not bring a car to London as it is difficult to find parking and is expensive for parking and payment of the Congestion Zone (Google this to know more about it). Best to leave the car on the outskirt of the city and travel in.
